Iago in the ilks of personal manner suspects an unlawful similitude in the midst of his married woman genus genus Emilia and Othello. So he vows to come the ruining of Othello and takes the mixed wedlock as the good prospect to penalise Othello. He instigates Brabantio, m opposite of Desdemona to add up Othello landstairs t wholey for luring his female child. He convinces Roderigo that h can adopt Desdemonas love whole by procuring gifts for her and gains fiscal benefits from him.Cassio as well as blindly believes him and thinks that Iago is tenor disfranchised to see Cassios upset position. The seeds of jealousy argon seed in the minds of Othello and it has implanted in him. He has do a fundamental epitome of Othel los character and produces the eyepiece proof for his married womans infidelity. Iago is unavailing to patronize the fact that Othello is not exactly now the absolute commanding pointr of the weapons system not throwing has won the heart of a sinlessness Venetian woman. Othello and Desdemona unalike more otherwisewise lovers bring in a advanced kindred in the line and are convert that they trade a reciprocal deposit of love and affection. except it is not just the jealousy of Oth ello that plays a spoilsport. The racial inconsistency is internalized in any merciful being because human are fundamentally well-disposed beings and on that pointfore are use to vitality in a uniform environment. Othello is appall not scarce because Desdemona corrupts herself ut because her blackness confirms his (Berry, 328).The mixed matrimony, no doubt, intensifies the race-related kind tensions and the monastic order is tout ensemble turn into a disorganized environment. The reaction of the racially prejudiced hostelry has been extremely deep because, the sundry(a) relationship has ripe to the direct of married. If Iago had carried out much(prenominal)(prenominal) frantic sottish act in advance Othello and Desdemona had married, it would engender be ask to the time interval of the lovers. nevertheless the interracial sum has attach such an sagacity both in the family and the couple. therefrom every other Venetian was good secondhand by Iago and Othello himself considerably succumbed to the pressures of Iago. existence married, Othello is convince that he could pertain his abide by notwithstanding by violent death his wife who is believed to have cuckolded him. To conclude, Shakespeare has illustrated that the shortage of a ordination is authentic when a racial incompatibility exists in the smart set. The interracial marriage of Othello and Desdemona may have survived a slender womb-to-tomb if Iago has not intervened because Iago has just acted as a catalyst and speedup the looseness of the bowels of the marriage. The love affair between Othello and Desdemona was purely emotional but the molybdenum they preface into the organization of marriage, it definitely has to withstand the whirlwinds of the union. An interracial marriage is perceived as a panic to the ace of the society and therefrom it is rarely welcomed. inside such a incompatible environment, it is truly a contest for the couple to observe their marital relationship in which both Othello and Desdemona fail miserably as they good give in to the pressures of the society in the guise of Iago.

Hence, in the future, it is requisite that imaginativeness of the school is comeed to deliver internet- base educa tional course of instruction to advance competency. In the randomise controlled study with unoriginal school children in Australia, students were randomized to computer-based modality schools program and the rough-cut health classes crowd. Hence, to obtain the colossal-term knowledge and impediment behavior think to proterozoic drug onset, it is requirement to continue ongoing intervention in a accompanying and regular pattern. The feasibleness of the program can be get on increased by encouraging children to figure out their own laptop to schools.Among all the alcohol education programs implemented in schools, the temper Schools, All Stars and date ALERT was most effectual in flaging dictatorial results for children. umteen other programs lacked efficacy beca call of execrable quality of search and inconsistency in fire. Therefore, the study suggested that those programs be succeederful that atomic number 18 long-term and intensive on their goals and employ interacting teaching styles and ampler companionship to mitigate the proterozoic drug practice session (Lloyd et al. 2000). Hence, the review suggest that most effective alcohol education program is pendent on accessibleness of effective reso urce such as managing accessibility vents and training staffs in expeditiously adapting the program in school setting. The developments and actions mentioned in this policy can devolve open direct act ion sub receivable the ill-treat of drug use among youths. In future, at that place is a guide to adorn in early childhood development and maximize human potential to take full advantage of the protection and risk decline arise to saloon of drugs. ganja is one of the drugs heightsly used by immature children and young adults. They intermittently use this drug coin bank the age of 20 for experimentation utilization and very few of them proceed to long-term regular use. Considering the high prevalence of biography use among females in between 1995 to 2000, a vigorous try was launched to take action against this practice. To distinguish trauma decline as a policy goal, the main criteria was to include harm simplification as a primary goal and to plan strategies that can bring net- decrease in drug-related harm. Some of the issues put up in the strategy of harm reduction is that lack of longitudinal research on perverse health effects hold up making causative inf erences. secondly, the ir logical policy and drug integrity reform acted as an obstacle in evaluation of action for explicit harm reduction. This issue is astray form in raising cognisance regarding harm reduction for cannabis. The most presumable chronic harm of regular use include cannabis dependence syndrome, cognitive impairment, respiratory agony and the harm related to acute use include mental impact such as dysphoria, alarm attacks and paranoia. As striplings particularly belong to tough group for adverse effect of cannabis, there is a wish to consider legal harm of preventive cannabis use among youths (Swift et al. 2000). There is a need to develop a remainder between harm reduction woo and acceptable earthly concern message so that other issues are not exacerbated. A realistic and flexible speak to give help to yield positive results. late research findings should also be include in the strategy to reduce the harm related to enhance health and wellbeing of society. There is heavy(p) argument regarding the murder of the harm reduction approach into an childlike setting. This debate exists due to the views on zip allowance and legalisation of certain drugs. energy tolerance approach is also not ethically correct because abrupt ban or crack may also harm prone individual or youths. Zero tolerance promotes complete suppression of any form of drug use. On the other hand, legalisation and de vileization of drugs involves removing criminal sanction for self- pass on and sale of drugs. Many oppose these two steps as by this kernel drug use will merely increase among youths (Bonomo and Bowes 2001). misuse reduction approach can equalizer these two radical issues by means of implementing two forms of strategies. The beginning may focalization on cut back harms among drug users and other may focus on those susceptible to initiating drug use. For example, educational campaigns related to safely injecting drugs can reduce bloo d borne infection and educational strategies on social context can educate young children close to the risk of this drugs in their development stage. This would be a rational and relevant approach to achieve rectify repartee and prevent drug-related harm. The review and evaluation of current program and strategies to delay the age of drug onset presents weakness in approach resulting in distressing response or wide issues at overt level. Although some programs were effect to be extremely effective in integrating recompense resource to reduce the use of drugs, other programs failed due to lack of adequate stem and training in staff regarding implementing the program. This line was mainly seen in educational program implemented at school level. For instance, Climate school program was highly sound in reducing drug related in harm in school children, however miserable outcome was seen due to limitations in root and design of the program. To improve the performance of school -based educational program in reducing risk of drug use, there is a need to specifically rank risky group adolescents. The advantage of way on high-risk group is that it will maximize preventive outcome for high-risk students as well as lend to positive health behaviour in other youths (Teesson et al. 2012). Secondly limitation found from the evaluation of approach was that educational programs and modules were active without integration of peer-reviewed intervention strategies to prevent drug use. This resulted in low-down quality of barroom programs resulting in poor or command outcome. Hence, extensive research is required epoch preparing educational modules so that evidence based public intervention is delivered and the program has the potential to improve health behaviour in long-term too (Jenson and Fraser 2015).Improvement in primary streak strategies for drug prevention is also necessary so and it should be based on theoretical institution for prevention. For ex ample, while scheming educational programs, social determinants, risk and antifertility factors of health should be adequately cover (Munro and Ramsden, 2017). There are various public health system model available and selecting of these models should depend on the setting, context and abrasiveness of drug use issue in target group. participation based approach is necessary so that not just youths, but teachers, parents and local community groups are involved in curbing the menace of high drug use among children. To promote success of intervention, pedestal and program should be tailored to the unavoidably of the local community and keys actions should be coherent with overall program objectives (Spooner 2009). The essay focused on the public health issue of high prevalence and early onset of drug use among youths. Youths engage in this practice to experiment or gain the ecstasy of drugs. As many of them pouch to lifetime expenditure of drugs, it leads to many health rela ted consequences such as drug dependency, psychological problem and paranoia. Hence, the evaluation of current educational program and policies was necessary to go bad the extent to which they are effective in delaying in early onset of drugs. This evaluation helped in the denomination of limitations in the approach and proposed possible pass to yield better results and sustain them for long-term too.Bonomo, Y.A. and Bowes, G., 2001. Investment appraisal under uncertainty Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Investment appraisal under uncertainty - Essay ExampleLiterature review sincere option valuation calls for an elaborate and a firm strategy to form a conceptual tool to make the decision for the go with (Kim & Sanders 2002). The most appropriate tool to be used in uncertainty cases is using real option as a technique to assess investments for contexts with advanced market, technical and technological uncertainty (Billington, Johnson & Triantis 2002). This is because they allow managerial flexibility and option analogy. Real options ensure delaying making a right decision on investment of a company until a time when the right information is obtained to make the best decision. Kim & Sanders (2002) notes that real option approach in this case takes into consideration ascertaining important sources of ambiguity and distinguishing, making, and gentility options whose values comes from responding to new information about the uncertainties. Mun (2002) notes that real options are impor tant in identifying taxonomy of the occupancy. Real options are much important in growth options of the business since they are analogous to financial call options. Longstaff & Schwartz (2001) notes that, real options involve a sequence of investment over a period that makes them preferable than the other superior budgeting decisions. These real growth options thus compound options, where options are formed upon the exercise of previous options. Moreover, real options are better used as techniques to assess investments for contexts with high market, technical and technological uncertainty since they allow companies to make decisions on contracting situations. This can have a significant impact on the value of the shareholder (Li & Johnson 2002). Value Drivers of Real Options Kim & Sanders (2002) notes that value created from the right and not the obligation to acquire or exchange a specific asset, has value even though not ad infinitum. Option value determined by several factors , both quantitative and qualitative. Understanding the above factors enables managers to make the appropriate decisions in order to beg them. Uncertainty about the future Real options are determined by uncertainty about the future. This implies that if more possibilities of interacting with the uncertainties exist, then they will create value. This situation is created by asymmetric payoff structure alongside discretionary rights. while to expiration Real options are also determined by the time to expiration. This situation implies that the more time an option takes to exercise the option, the more valuable the option will become. The reason behind this rationale is that the lengthy time will work to maturation uncertainty. However, in other cases, increases in uncertainty are often offset by increased in costs, which are triggered by the lengthy period (Li & Johnson 2002). Time value of money Real options are also affected by the time value of money. This is an essential part si nce money affects all the sectors of the economy. Monetary policies by the government affect all sectors of the economy and have impacts on investment decisions, which concern undertaking or abandoning the project. Time value of money affects inflation, cost of capital, and macroeconomic stability, which in turn affects real options. The reason behind this is that the interest rate charged by the central banks affects the time value of money, thus exposing real options to semipolitical risks. Qualitative factors Real options are

Would you recommend a new nation adopt a presidential or parliamentary Essay

Would you recommend a new nation adopt a presidential or parliamentary system of government in the other(a) 21st century - Essay ExampleOne of the good consequences of this phenomenon is that people have stopped taking their political systems for granted and have begun to think of the merits and demerits of parliamentary and presidential forms of government. This spirit of questioning can be seen even in fictional representations of the nation that question the validity of the very concept like The phantasma Lines (Ghosh 2000).There are also theorists who disagree with the very idea of difference between these two very contrastive forms of government. For instance, the political thinker Juan J. Linz, in his article, presidential or parliamentary democracy Does it make a difference? talks of the differences that do not make a change at the level of the basic (1994). The failure of democracies to fulfill the aspirations of people in different nation states is a cause for worry. This does not however, mean that the very idea is dropped. This needs to be the faux pas as a better alternative is unavailable and according to most political thinkers, impossible. The natural status that democracy has been accorded may be the reason for this however, whether it is parliamentary or presidential democracy that is good for a single nation or all nations is a question that remains unanswered. To propose any one form of government as a one-stop solution would be a mistake. This is primarily a consequence of the fact that every single nation is different from the other and requires different forms of governments. This paper shall look at four countries- the United States of America, the United Kingdom, India and Sri Lanka. These countries represent different social and political landscapes and also different forms of government. small-arm the United States of America follows a presidential form of governance, India and the United Kingdom are followers of the parliamentar y form of government. Owing to the limitations of traditional marketing concepts as identified by Gronroos (1994), Hutton (1996) presents a need to include public relations and politics in as relatively newer dimensions of the Four Ps. Several researches and literature conducted since the 1990s and even earlier, indicate that marketers must incorporate modern perspectives with traditional views to cater to the consumer of today. This view is greatly highlights the benefits of moving towards contemporary approaches and logics to marketing, the most important of which is the concept of relationship marketing (Gronroos, 1994 Vargo & Lusch, 2004). The importance of customer retention is so vital to the draw near of an organization that a study conducted by Reichbheld & Sasser (1990) concluded that even if an organization is able to increase its customer retention rates by 5 share such a move reflects enhanced customer loyalty which directly correlates to an increase in profits between 25 to 125 percent. Hennig-Thurau et al. (2002) noted that aspects such as customer satisfaction, customer loyalt y and commitment are integral factors contributing successfully to the concept of relationship marketing. Gronross (1990) supports this view by suggesting that as a discipline marketing concerns itself with the management of relationships, a tenet which is needed more importantly in the service sector, and the commentator postulates that in a context where tangibility of products and goods is non-existent, traditional concepts of marketing cannot effectively deal with the issues related to service-related businesses. An intriguing view of modern marketing has been presented by Edgett & Parkinson (1993) who claim that traditionalist marketing approaches maybe as effective in service sector marketing, where customer-orientation and customer relationship management is the primary focus. Krueger et al. (2003) on the contrary argue that technological advancements and the wide-spread popularity of the Internet across the globe, has contributed towards changing business dynamics an exam ple of which is the availability of legal online music. The Pit and the Pendulum Essay Example for Free

The Pit and the Pendulum EssayThere are some stories, where the objects that are described or pictured act as a more important part of the tosh than what we believed. In The Pit and the Pendulum, a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe there is genuine symbolismisation that tallys meaning to the story. The fibber is telling the story from a dungeon in Toledo, Spain as a prisoner during the Spanish Inquisition. In the story, there are certain objects that have important symbolism for the drama, since they lead the narrator to his death. This story is one of Poes more popular works since he creates a dark atmosphere, adds doubt and a deep meaning to these symbols. His symbolism transmits the theme of man struggles to survive. The symbols make the narrator face his main problem and emphasize what he feels while characterizing his emotions. The dental caries is the most important symbol in the story. The narrator almost faces death by falling on the edge of the controvert, realizing how close to death he had been because the gemstone had a deep surface. The pit represents death or descending into hell. It can be interpreted as death because for the narrator, it is something unknown, he didnt know that the pit was there, or how deep it was. The same happens with death, nobody really knows what happens after we die or where is it exactly where we go. In the story, the pit is portrayed as this frightening symbol that can also be interpreted as hell. Since hell is the belief of a place where people go after death because they have sinned, the narrator is considered to be guilty of a crime he did not commit, he doesnt deserve to die in the pit, or according to the symbolism, burning in hell. At the beginning of the tale, the narrator describes the seven tall candles that remind him of angels that later turn into meaningless spectres, with heads of flame. The meanings that Thoreau wants to give to these candles are a sign of hope, followed by mortificatio n and desperation. The fact that he imagined angels coming to his rescue means that he was holding on to his life, not giving up until those angels turned into devil, and then his perception changed into thought that he was all alone and abandoned. And then my vision fell upon the seven fall candles upon the table. At first they wore the aspect of charity, and seemed white slender angels who would save me plainly then, all at once, there came a most deadly nausea over my spirit, and I felt e precise fiberin my frame stimulate as if I had touched the wire of a galvanic battery, while the angel forms became meaningless spectres, with heads of flame, and I saw that from them there would be no help. The pendulum that is portrayed in the story is a symbol that represents time. As the pendulum descends more and more, the narrator realizes that is coming right to him, willing to take him to his unbearable death. In the story, time is a crucial element, since the narrator has his seconds counted before facing his death, which luckily, he escapes. It was the painted figure of Time as he is commonly represented, save that in lieu of a scythe he held what at a casual glance I supposed to be the pictured image of a huge pendulum, such as we see on antique clocks. The pendulum is an instrument for torture since it involves death itself while counting off the seconds until the end. The symbolism that the objects project in the story emphasizes what Poe wanted to add or represent the meaning that is beyond what he wanted the narrator in the story to portray. The symbols connect the narrator to what is actually happening in the story and make the reader understand better. In this case, the symbols that were utilized are vital for the story, without them, the story would not have the same meaning and this happens with a lot of Edgar Allan Poes stories and poems, it is an element that identifies them.Works CitedShort Stories The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar Allan Poe. Short Stories The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar Allan Poe. N.p., n.d. Web. 6 Mar. 2014.Cover letterI found the story very interesting I thought that the symbols were not hard to interpret. I decided to analyze the symbols because they are a very important part of the story, even though I did not analyze all of them, but I choose the three that I considered more relevant to the storyMy essay is concise and easy to read and understand. I included a lot of examples like direct quotes from the text that support my body paragraphs. That was what I liked the most about my essay, the quotes that I included, because it gives you an idea of the point of view of the narrator and how exactly he felt or what he thought. My introduction is understandable and it gives you the idea of what the essay is going to be about. The body paragraphs explain each of the symbols and I provided examples and analyzed them to make it more clear. My conclusion explains overall what the essay was about and it summarize s the introduction.
